Welcome to the first episode of the podcast in VIDEO FORMAT! Curtis' guest today is originally from the UK and now resides in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He's been performing and perfecting his craft in the art of Magic and Escapology for more than 20 years. Over the past 20 years he has performed all around the world in Japan, UK, Canada, Dubai, Italy, Argentina and Australia and for companies such as Norwegian Cruise Lines, Mercedes, Ford, AT&T, Toyota and Microsoft to name just a few. He has crafted a unique style known as Urban Deception--a cool mix of urban style street magic combined with the comedic timing and slick stage presence of a seasoned corporate performer. His performances incorporate magic, escapes, sleight of hand, mind reading, the power of suggestion, razor sharp comedy timing and audience participation into a performance that has been hailed as by Simon Cowell as “…Simply Brilliant!” In the UK he's been seen on various TV shows such as the Lorraine show, Breakfast Television, Global TV, CTV, & City News. In America, he's also been on Penn & Teller Fool Us and SyFy's Wizard Wars, a show that sees the world's top magicians battling head to head. In 2019 he was chosen as one of the TOP 50 ACTS IN THE WORLD to appear on The World's Best on CBS which aired to 22 million viewers right after Super Bowl. That same week he appeared as a guest on the Late Late Show with James Corden. However, most of you probably know him from his appearances on Britain's Got Talent which to date has earned him over 500 Million views on YouTube--the amazing and incredible Matt Johnson (and his dog Yogi)!
